Saxophonist Dave Koz brings his signature smooth jazz sounds to the intimate Lilian Fontaine Garden Theatre inside the Montalvo Arts Center with acclaimed vocalist Bebe Winans. Tucked in behind the villa on a sloping hill surrounded by trees, this beautiful venue has been a live performance space since the 1920s and has evolved into a state-of-the-art amphitheatre over the years. The Grammy-nominated Koz, a famed radio host and one of music's leading saxophonists, is a California native known for his '90s-era singles "You Make Me Smile," the theme song to General Hospital, and his rendition of "White Christmas." But he hit the top of the jazz charts again in 2011 with "Starting Over Again" and "Anything's Possible." He's joined by gospel and R&B singer BeBe Winans of the noted Winans family. A six-time Grammy winner (three as a solo artist; three with his sister CeCe Winans), Winans has just released his seventh solo disc, America, America. A close friend of the late Whitney Houston, Winans performed at her funeral and recently wrote the book The Whitney I Knew.
