Pierpont Finch as he works his way up the corporate ladder from window washer to chairman of the board of the World Wide Wicket company, not through hard work, but by getting others to work hard for him. The Pulitzer Prize-winning musical by Abe Burrows with music by Frank Loesser features such songs as "Brotherhood of Man," "The Company Way," "I Believe in You" and "Coffee Break." How to Succeed... was the basis for a 1967 film and a recent Broadway revival featured Daniel Radcliffe. John Eubank, Mike Hugill and Samantha Stidham star for director Meg Fischer.

Bristol Riverside Theatre presents RENT, the Pulitzer and Tony-winning rock musical by Jonathan Larson, based on Puccini's opera, La Boheme. The musical tells the story of a group of impoverished young artists and musicians struggling to survive, love and create under the shadow of AIDS in New York's Lower East Side in the golden days of bohemian Alphabet City. The timeless story comes to vivid life through the modern rock score, including such favorites as "La Vie Boheme," "What You Own," and "Seasons of Love." Learn More

I must say that seeing the performance of "How to Succeed..." was one of the most fantastic nights of theater that I have attended in quite awhile. Not only were the actors professional with great voices but the production values of this production was out of this world. The sets were 1st rate and the changing from scene to scene was flawless and executed with perfection which made it look like it was part of the play. The orchestra led by Jeff was top-notch loaded with 22 very professional and talented musicians. They sounded great without being overbearing and drowning out the singers. Our seats were in the middle of the 3rd row with a spectacular view, however really there was no bad seat in this very modern cozy theater. The lighting was right on. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we would highly recommend this production to anyone wishing to enjoy a GREAT night of musical theater!

Having performed in this musical several times in the past, I had forgotten how musicals from the '60s were very LONG! I guess that theatre goers from that era were used to sitting through performances which were in excess of three hours; this one ended at 11:15. The WVLO production was well cast, but the pacing seemed a bit slow, which added to the longness of the show. I don't know if the most recent Broadway revival of the show has been cut in any way, but I would suspect that it was, to keep the essence of the show, but to address the needs of the audience.

Great music, dancing; cute performances. A fun show to watch - a slice of Americana!

It was terrible. The story boring. The songs awful and the voices of the singers terrible.
