For this unique concert, the San Jose Wind Symphony's own musician-members have chosen the works to be played. Among the favorites picked by the players are Bach's Fugue à la Gigue and Liszt's Les Preludes. The lively program, entitled The Musician's World, will also find the SJWS sharing the stage with a guest ensemble -- the inspired, virtuosic Quadre Horn Quartet performing Schumann's Konzertstück. These funny and highly entertaining French horn masters have won awards and played concerts across the country. Learn More

I purchased tickets for this event for my dad and 3 friends, they had a fantastic time, the musicians, dressed in baseball unforms, performed a program of baseball themed music. The event included a trivia contest which they enjoyed. They said the venue was excellent and easy to find. I think they would have had a better turnout if they offered this program in spring time rather than in December when baseball is not top of mind.
