The San Francisco Giants kick off a home series against the Padres, and you can cheer them on in person at AT&T Park. Outfielder Hunter Pence and catcher Buster Posey had great years for the Giants last season, and fan-favorite batters like Pablo Sandoval and Brandon Belt are also returning for another season. The Giants are hoping to get great years from pitchers Madison Bumgarner, Matt Cain and Tim Lincecum, too, as they attempt to return to the playoffs and win their third World Series in five years. I purchased tickets for this event for my dad and 3 friends, they had a fantastic time, the musicians, dressed in baseball unforms, performed a program of baseball themed music. The event included a trivia contest which they enjoyed. They said the venue was excellent and easy to find. I think they would have had a better turnout if they offered this program in spring time rather than in December when baseball is not top of mind.
