Brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill, and cousin Matthew Followill -- otherwise known as the multiplatinum-selling, Grammy-winning rockers Kings of Leon -- hit the stage at Concord Pavilion as part of their 2014 Mechanical Bull tour, which includes indie rockers Young the Giant ("It's About Time") and South African band Kongos ("Come With Me Now"). Kings of Leon's latest disc has spawned the Top 10 singles "Supersoaker," "Wait for Me" and "Temple," and follows an unbroken run of smash albums since their '03 debut. Kings of Leon's album Only by the Night went double platinum in the U.S. alone and their hits "Sex on Fire" and "Use Somebody" earned them four Grammy Awards. Learn More
San Jose Wind Symphony’s second concert of the season takes the ensemble on the road, as they explore the highways and back roads of the good ol’ USA. This musical journey takes the audience from Schuman’s New England Tryptich, through Copland’s Tenderland and on down to Karrick’s Bayou Breakdown. Special guest Dale Wolford performs Creston’s classic Concerto for Saxophone.
