Known for his smooth blues-rock sound, two-time Grammy Award-winning artist Kenny Loggins has 12 platinum albums under his belt. He first rose to fame as part of the duo Loggins and Messina before embarking on a meteoric solo career during which he penned and recorded such enduring hits as "Footloose," "Danger Zone," "Celebrate Me Home," I'm Alright" and the Grammy-winning "This Is It." Now in his fourth decade of performing, he's still going strong. His latest album, a Disney collaboration titled All Join In, includes songs for the whole family. It is, as Loggins puts it, "a tasty musical gumbo, full of a lot of colors and flavors." Learn More
San Jose Wind Symphony’s second concert of the season takes the ensemble on the road, as they explore the highways and back roads of the good ol’ USA. This musical journey takes the audience from Schuman’s New England Tryptich, through Copland’s Tenderland and on down to Karrick’s Bayou Breakdown. Special guest Dale Wolford performs Creston’s classic Concerto for Saxophone.
