A true double-threat, actor-comedian Ralph Harris has made it big as both an actor and a stand-up. He's gone on to feature film work, including appearances in Dreamgirls and Evan Almighty. Always a stand-up at heart, Harris has had specials on Comedy Central and HBO, appeared all over late-night TV, and competed as a finalist on Last Comic Standing. Description

December 9-12, 2010: John Heffron

Winner of NBC's hit reality series Last Comic Standing comedian John Heffron has become the comic to watch and love. The newly married 33 year old is already seeing the payoff. He is currently traveling the country performing at comedy clubs, colleges and theatres.

John started his comedy career as a student at Eastern Michigan University, skipping night classes to perform stand up comedy. He got his first gig as an emcee at the Main Street Comedy Showcase, located on the Univeristy of Michigan campus. After making his way to graduation, he immediately began working in the field of his choice. He started touring the college circuit, performing at over 80 colleges a year. It was at this time he recorded his first comedy cd, Kid With a Cape.

John joined the radio community as sidekick to Danny Bonaduce on the highly rated Detroit morning show. He worked for 5 years before making his way back to Los Angeles.

Since arriving in LA and making his home in Hollywood, he has made numerous television appearances including NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, Comedy Central Presents, and many more. Last year he landed the lead role in the VH-1's sitcom Smash. The show was created by one of John's biggest music idols, Gene Simmons from Kiss. In addition, he has also performed at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal as well as the HBO Comedy Festival in Aspen. Recently, John released his second cd, Good Kid, Bad Adult. With his recent television success, John is well on his way to being that guy who has his own show.

January 6-9, 2011: Orny Adams

As a native of Boston, Orny Adams naturally started performing at the local clubs. Stage time was plentiful and the competition was good, fast, and funny. "I had to work hard to fit in with this group." With four years under his belt, he moved to New York City, where the competition was even greater, and it's all been hell from there. "A lot of people believe that comedians are funny because they felt a lot of pain growing up. I didn't feel pain until I started doing comedy." Orny considered New York his graduate work in comedy. "I got my comedy Ph.D."

After four years in New York, Orny was named in The Hollywood Reporter as one of the favorite comedians to watch on the New York comedy scene. In July 2000, Orny made quite an impact at the Montreal Comedy Festival which resulted in a development deal with Warner Brothers TV and his first appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman. Orny has also written jokes for Jay Leno and The Tonight Show as well as several other TV personalities.

He made his first TV appearance on Friday Night Videos and was also a host of his own show on Discovery's Travel Channel. You may recognize him from many of his national commercials.

Orny's comedy style is unique, yet universally appealing. Orny is quick on his feet to deliver a clever, sophisticated, and fast paced routine that attacks topics from an angle that many people have never considered. One minute he's goofy. the next intelligent, and you never completely know when he's being serious. He's a closet neurotic who isn't happy unless he's complaining!
