Gary Valentine, best known for his role on the CBS sitcom The King of Queens, actually got his start in the world of stand-up comedy. For more than a decade, he's traveled the country refining his live routine and performing at comedy clubs and festivals. He's also starred in his own Comedy Central special, and has performed on the legendary Tonight Show. A frequent guest on TV's Comics Unleashed and Chelsea Lately, Valentine also appeared in the hit comedy films Paul Blart Mall Cop and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, among others.

The comedians and the improv were great. I would go again next time they off tickets through Goldstar. We all enjoyed the show.

Mister Gary Valentine was "EXCELLENT". He Himself was outstanding, very "FUNNY". My girlfriend & myself enjoyed the whole show. The other "COMEDIANS" that were on before him were also "GOOD". But MR. VALENTINE WAS OUTSTANDING" Extremely "HILARIOUS". We would probably see him again if & when he ever came Back.

Description

Gary Valentine, who became a series regular on The King of Queens in 2001, got his start in the world of stand-up comedy. For 13 years, he traveled the country refining his comedic routine by performing at comedy clubs and festivals. After headlining at the Montreal Comedy Festival, he moved to Los Angeles, where he appeared on The Late Late Show on CBS, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Valentine's television credits also include starring in his own half-hour comedy special on Comedy Central and co-hosting FX's The X Show. Valentine was also recently seen in the film I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.
