Harris' acting career was the first to take off, with a starring role on '90s TGIF sitcom On Our Own and guest spots on Seinfeld, Living Single and more. He's gone on to feature film work, including appearances in Dreamgirls and Evan Almighty. Always a stand-up at heart, Harris has had specials on Comedy Central and HBO, appeared all over late-night TV, and competed as a finalist on Last Comic Standing. I'm 51 and attended with my 23 year old son. We both thought that both Rocky and the "featured" comic ahead of him were incredibly funny! We both look forward to attending the Improv in the future. Note that each attendee must purchase two items (food or drink). We had dinner and drinks. Dinners range from $9 for a burger to the twenties. I'd say a typical meal is $13 - $15. $5 bottled beer.Written on Dec 14 2009

Description
With his unmistakable accent and his hilarious yet endearing delivery, Comedian Rocky Laporte is becoming more well-known by the day. His performance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" brought him a standing ovation, and he's been featured on his own "Comedy Central Presents" special which is currently running on Comedy Central.
Rocky's star has continued to rise - after Tim Allen saw Rocky perform on The Tonight Show, he proclaimed Rocky his "favorite new comic" and cast him in his hit movie, "The Shaggy Dog". Rocky recently visited Iraq along with Drew Carey and the trip has been turned into a Showtime movie called "Patriot Act: a Jeffrey Ross Home Movie" which is currently running on Showtime. Rocky's performance will also be featured in "Godfathers of Comedy", which is slated for release later this year.
