Comedian Ralph Harris (Last Comic Standing, On Our Own)
- Full Price:
- $17.00 - $20.00
- Our Price:
- $8.50 - $10.00
A true double-threat, actor-comedian Ralph Harris has made it big as both an actor and a stand-up. Harris' acting career was the first to take off, with a starring role on '90s TGIF sitcom On Our Own and guest spots on Seinfeld, Living Single and more. He's gone on to feature film work, including appearances in Dreamgirls and Evan Almighty. Always a stand-up at heart, Harris has had specials on Comedy Central and HBO, appeared all over late-night TV, and competed as a finalist on Last Comic Standing. His act pulls from his real life and large family, and often finds Harris slipping in and out of hilarious characters. Learn More

I LOVE the Chicago improv... Any show you can attend here, I would do it! Comedians and Opening acts are always good. Food isnt the best, but it is nice to have dinner AND a comedian!Written on Nov 19 2010

I thought it was a really good show. The opening acts were pretty good and the setting was nice. Alonzo was very funny and it was a great experience. The only reason I didnt give 4 stars is because towards the end, it just seemed like he was wasting some time to get to midnight. That whole small talk with the front row got annoying after the first 5 mins or so.Written on Aug 02 2010

Description
Alonzo Bodden describes his humor as "cynically good-natured" which explains his broad appeal. His comedy rings true because he draws on his own experiences. Bodden strives to find humor in the commonality of our life experiences and transcend the race and gender boundaries that separate us -- he'd also like to land a really fat endorsement deal with Nike or Reebok or somebody, anybody...he just likes free stuff! Bodden has made comedic appearances on NBC's Last Comic Standing, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Comedy Central’s Make Me Laugh, The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn and Showtime at the Apollo. His acting credits include roles in Bringin' Down the House (starring Steve Martin & Queen Latifah), Angel, Grounded for Life and Profiler among others.
