- There is a playland type thing at the end so its better for kids to wear pants.
Parking And Transportation
- The lot is not awful, but expect congestion.
- Give yourself at least 5 min for parking.
- Get there early!

Centered around the iconic interlocking colored bricks, the 30,000-square-foot LEGOLAND Discovery Center combines LEGO model building and unusual construction challenges with theme park-like attractions.
Activities include:
- LEGO Factory Tour: Take a tour through the LEGO Factory with Professor Brick-a-Brack and watch as real brick is being made. You can even take one home!
- Dragon Ride: Climb aboard the Dragon Ride and take a journey through a medieval castle full of models created by LEGOLAND Master Model Makers. You never know what might be lurking around the next corner!
- Technicycle: Spinning in circles, cycle as fast as you can, and see how high you can go!
- 4D Movie Theater: A real movie experience! Thrilling 4D effects and surprise features make you feel part of the story.
- Miniland: Handmade by Master Model Makers, the Chicago skyline has been re-created exactly to scale with more than 10 million LEGO bricks. Don't miss the amazing transformation from day to night.
- Build & Test: It's time to play! With more bricks than you can imagine, come and create what your mind desires. You can even test your creations on the speed ramp or earthquake table.
- DUPLO Play: For those creative younger builders, there is a special DUPLO area full of great colorful bricks, animals, trucks and much more.
- Model Builders Workshop: This is a wonderful opportunity to learn from the Master Model Maker. If you have a special model in mind, they will guide you to build it, or simply follow the model-of-the-day workshop to create a special model invented by LEGOLAND.
Other highlights include a LEGO cafe, a LEGO store and a special room with rotating exhibitions of work by master LEGO builders. The LEGO retail store is open daily from 10am to 7pm.
