On 10/ 15/2009 had received a call from Lego land ( Schaumburg ) that the 4d movie was not working 2days before my son 6th birthday party. I was offered a 10% discount or 10 free tickets. I called back the following day to check to see if the 4d movie was repaired; the conversation that I had with the office manager (HEIDI) was very unprofessional to say the least. She tells me "well do you want to cancel the birthday" very rudely. She got very argumentative with me to the point I hung up on her.
The day of the party things got worse, the tour guide that we had to pay an additional $50 for didn't know a thing, we didn't get to finish our tour and the workshop should have been every 15minutes which changed to 1 hr 30 min which we missed because we were told that the show was made longer due to the 4d movie not working. Our Tour guide (Lauren) was very nice but she was a new employee and one 3-4 different occasion had to go and ask a supervisor Kelly several questions. Kelly had a frown on her face and never smiled, I really didn’t think she liked her job. I wouldn't recommend paying $19 to get in or having a birthday charging you over $300 for services not rendered.
Just a FYI you might want to go on a read some of the review about Lego land Schaumburg, I am sure if you don’t change your practices Lego land Schaumburg will not be around very long. You just opened up in July 09 and you already have a hand full of bad reviews. I should have read some of those before booking my little ones birthday party there.
Clean it up guys…… managers training for Heidi (office manager) and Kelly would be a great start. Not the people I would want representing my company and greeting customers. There were several people leaving and very unhappy with the services and price of Lego land and negative reviews. This is not the way you want to start out with a very rude office manager.
