This production of Bye Bye Birdie was OK for a play by High School aged actors. We were unimpressed by many of the voices of the "star" singers. By far the young person playing of Mrs. Peterson stole the show. Her acting prowess, timing, etc. made most of the poor sounding singing roles disappear.
Had we known we were going to a High School aged production we would have been less disappointed. The "howling" of parents for their children was amusing albeit silly.
IF you attend this production, don't assume that you will be seeing seasoned actors...that said, enjoy the production for a light hearted fun musical, with less than professional actors.
