Acclaimed jazz and blues singer Pamela Rose brings her hit multimedia concert Wild Women of Song
to the desert. Backed by a live band, Rose combines the timeless music of Tin Pan Alley's top female songwriters with her own stellar storytelling and dramatic visuals to bring that classic era to vivid life on stage. The result is an amazing trip through what JazzTimes
calls "female-centric jazz anthropology." The show's earned raves at the Monterey and San Francisco Jazz Festivals and at venues up and down the West Coast, including L.A.'s prestigious Grammy Museum. Rose's 2009 CD of the same name includes tunes by composers Dorothy Fields, Kay Swift, Doris Fisher and many more, and her ensemble features talented female musicians like pianist Tammy Hall, bassist Ruth Davies and saxophonist Kristen Strom.
