Cassandra Wilson is best known as a jazz singer and instrumentalist, but she has broken out of the traditional confines of the genre to include elements of blues, country and folk into her music. She draws on influences ranging from Miles Davis and Hank Williams to Joni Mitchell and Robert Johnson. In addition to her two Grammys, Wilson has won the Django D'Or and The Edison Music Award, and been recognized with a marker on the Mississippi Blues Trail. She also performed one of the leading roles in Wynton Marsalis' Blood on the Fields, the first jazz work to receive a Pulitzer Prize. Learn More

This was a great show. The food of Wild Ginger, the hip space of the
Triple Door. What could go wrong - answer nothing, beyond a brief seating issue - giving us cramped two top for 3 people. The hostess could used some better customer service skills but the problem was resolved and were placed in some the best seats in the theatre. Arrival were exact replicates of ABBA, both look and sound. They played all the great hits and it was a very fun evening.

If you closed your eyes, it was ABBA. When you opened your eyes, it still seemed like ABBA. Great band, great show. The Triple Door is a comfortable venue. The band seemed to be a little over-amplified (too loud), but the evening was enjoyable.
