In this taut, twisty -- and timely -- thriller by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Ayad Akhtar, a successful American investment banker named Nick finds himself in the clutches of a militant Islamic group in Pakistan, who're demanding a $10 million dollar ransom. But when the deal to free him suddenly falls through, Nick is forced to try and raise the money on his own. His subsequent stock-market wheeling and dealing -- and eye-opening lessons on the financial markets -- begin to sink in for his eager-to-learn captors, with truly terrifying results. Akhtar, author of the acclaimed novel American Dervish, won the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for his play Disgraced. Learn More

This didn't end up being what I expect. It was billed as a Comedy/Drama. I saw very few things that were funny about it. The ending seems abupt and left us wondering what could have possibility happened other than the mom ending up in jail.
This show contains mild adult language and some violence. It is recommended for those age 14 or older.
This show’s running time is one hour and 30 minutes, without intermission.
