Arts West has good concession offerings (some which benefit a local charity). Though the venue is surrounded by tons of great food options - including Talarico's Pizza, which has tasty 14" slices of pizza!

True to the title, it really is irreverent. However, it places much needed attention on this critical time in U.S. history, and the music is great!

Quotes & Highlights

“[The musical takes] American idealism, resentment and fear of being perpetually misunderstood – adds a ravenous sense of entitlement and mixes these ingredients together in one big, gawky, sexually charged package: America, the eternal teenager. And who better to lead this restless, appetite-driven creature than a red-blooded rock star?” —Ben Brantley, The New York Times
“Insanely funny! Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson makes a bid for the smartest, sharpest new musical in years.” —Time Out
“Exhilarating and genuinely thought-provoking. Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson oozes political relevance.” —USA Today
