Very entertaining, I was expecting a amatuer show but it was very professional.

Absolutely great, grand, wonderful! We loved every minute of the show, and I will try to get tickets for my sister. Hope to see you again soon.

Quotes & Highlights

The original production of Chicago was nominated for 10 Tony Awards in 1975.

Description

Setting: The Cook County Jail. Time: The Roaring Twenties. Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly vie for the full attention of the press – and celebrity attorney Billy Flynn – as they prepare for two sensational murder trials. Chicago is a rousing story of fame, corruption, fortune, manipulation and heartbreak … and all that jazz.

Razzle-dazzle choreography by Crystal Dawn Munkers, who was trained by long time Fosse collaborator Ben Vereen, and the show-stopping music of Kander and Ebb make Chicago a classic crowd-pleaser and one of Broadway’s all-time favorites. Seattle Musical Theatre delivers every delightful moment in this lively production, the second of its current season.
