Sweet dreams are made of these: great works by Vivaldi, Saint-Saëns and Tchaikovsky. The Seattle Festival Orchestra's latest concert, Dreams of a Musical Journey
, showcases works from these three master composers at their entrancing and exhilarating best. Young violinists Kayla Yagi-Bacon, Hannah Lee and Shintaro Taneda will join in for Vivaldi's Concerto for Three Violins in F Major
, while fellow wunderkind Charlotte Marckx will be featured during Saint-Saëns' Violin Concerto No. 3
. In a possible nod to the extraordinary young talent featured in the show, the concert will conclude with "Winter Dreams", the lavishly talented first symphony from a then little-known, twenty-something composer just out of school: Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
