Follow young orphan Oliver from a dreary workhouse to the streets of Victorian London, where he unwittingly falls in with a gang of pickpockets, in Oliver! Based on Charles Dickens' beloved novel Oliver Twist, this boisterous musical features memorable songs like "Food, Glorious Food," "Consider Yourself," "Where Is Love?" and "As Long as He Needs Me," and timeless themes, including the search for love, the triumph of right over wrong and the hope for a better world. Oliver! premiered in London's West End in 1960, scored three Tony Awards for its Broadway debut in 1963 and was made into a six-time Oscar-winning musical film in 1968. This musical theater classic might leave you saying, "Please, sir, I want some more." Learn More

This is a fine production with good acting. However, I didn't much like the play, which seemed rather old fashioned with a pretty obvious plot. It's also very hard to watch a play from the extreme side seats of the balcony. I kept getting a crick in my neck.

Goldstar said the play started at 8:00pm when it actually started at 7:30pm. Luckily, the theater delayed the start so we only missed 10 minutes of the 2 hour and 20 minute performance, which was actually quite good with strong acting. T
This play contains some language and situations not appropriate for young audiences. It is recommended for ages 12 and up.
