It was opening night and it wasn't the flawless experience I expect at Benaroya. There really isn't a bad seat in the house and the seats we got were great. The Bass was a replacement stand-in and he did an amazing job. The Tenor stole the show! ...continued

Guest conductor Gary Thor Wedow will lead the Orchestra, Chorale and soloists in perennial favorite Handel’s Messiah. Soloists include soprano Lisa Saffer, mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke, tenor John McVeigh and bass-baritone Sanford Sylvan. Audiences are invited to bring non-perishable food items to donate to Food Lifeline, the food bank network of Western Washington.
