Broaden your musical horizons with a subscription to all five shows in Town Hall Seattle's season of Global Rhythms concerts. Mongolia's Arga Bileg takes the stage in September, a group of ethno-jazz musicians and dancers who update their country's folk songs with Western instruments and electronic elements. Then, Los Texmaniacs and special guest Flaco Jiménez arrive on Halloween to haunt you with their signature fusion of Texas rock, well-cured blues and R&B grooves. The mother-daughter duo of Kekuhi and Kaumakaiwa Kanaka'ole will warm up your wintry heart with a Valentine's Day show featuring their eerily beautiful renditions of contemporary and traditional Hawaiian music. Then it's on to the ethereal Arabic jazz band Hamsaz Ensemble in March and finally, May wraps up the series with the powerfully percussive music and lavishly colorful spectacle of Rup Tung Cack and the Golden Dragon Water Puppet Theatre of Saigon. I wore skirt and boots. It was at Town Hall so I expected people to dress down but there were many who were dressed quite nicely. Guess it depends on the performance. :).Seattle Baroque Orchestra: Delirio Amoroso -- Handel's Italian Years dress • Apr 27 2014 star this tip starred

Musicians were wonderful. Each one extremely talented. I have a rant about the audience though. About 15 minutes towards the end of the program people were getting up and leaving. It was very distracting and I thought incredibly rude. For heaven's sake, if you need to leave early then sit in the back of the venue. Show some respect for the musicians and the audience members that want to enjoy the show.
