The more intensive high school class introduces students to the Best of Broadway. Performers will present songs and scenes from four award-winning musicals, including The Phantom Of The Opera, West Side Story, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Spring Awakening. Written on May 21 2012This was a really good show. There were 4 principal singers, and they were all really good. I especially liked the song "I Can Live With That". The grey haired tenor had a beautiful voice that I will never forget.

Written on May 21 2012This production was well acted, well scripted, and full of energy. The set was minimal, but worked. The "orchestra" consisted of a piano player and a violin player, but they were both able musicians. There were plenty of laughs to be had, and some touching moments. My only criticism would be with the venue. The Magnuson Park Community Center is not a warm, inviting venue. Lots of hardwood floors. Tired color scheme. Bright red seats! The Seattle Musical Theatre would do well to put some money into the venue.

Written on May 21 2012This musical was hysterical. The singing was beautiful and the audience was full of laughter. I highly recommend this play to any couple.
