This was an excellent musical, the characters where very broad, diverse and well played. My favorite scene was The Tear Jerk. Although all of the scenes were excellent. Michael Nutting's Piano playing was superb, and tied in closely with Jordan Louie's Violin playing, the pace was well met. Jeff Church's mannerisms and facial expressions reminded me Steve Martin's characters on SNL and The Jerk. Mike Bowers performed excellent in all characters and closely reminded me of Silas Weir Mitchell, most recently in the TV Series Grimm. Both ladies, Molli Corcoran and Meghan Derr, complimented each other greatly which was readily apparent in Act 1 during Scene 4, where they pretended to listen to what the guys were saying or "lying". The singing, OH the singing, was on point. Way to go!!Written on Apr 30 2012
Overall i was thoroughly impressed with everything, from the music, to the characters, every actor/actress and down to the scene transitions. Cast and Crew were great!! Good synergy. Loved the revolving stage, makes me excited about the Les Miserables performances coming soon!
Thank you!!
