Written on Oct 19 2012The play was funny and wonderful
Written on Oct 15 2012This was a birthday gift for me at 78 and I just loved the show, Everyone did their part exceptionally well, looked the part and kept are interest the whole time. The performance of Elle. was over the top vocally and appearance All acting was professional. Costumes were very well designed and fit great. The sutle changes made differing from the movie were refreshing. The scene changes were not distracting and that was hard to do. The cookies and sodas were not expected and driving from Puyallup and not having ate, it was great also. Thanks so much . What a gift fom my daughters!!!!
Written on Oct 10 2012It was very entertaining! I was very pleased with the venue as all the seats were great. The cast was wonderful and my teenager and husband also enjoyed it!
Written on Oct 08 2012We were very plesantly suprised at how good this musical was. Very talented individuals. Great vocals. I would recommend this to all who love musicals.
Written on Oct 08 2012Nice show. Hard to find parking at this event.
Written on Oct 08 2012Fun evening; with topnotch local theatre group.
Written on Oct 08 2012This is my third show at the Seattle Musical Theatre, and I can say that I'm always impressed by the professionalism of the cast, orchestra and set designers. These are really quality productions, and certainly Legally Blonde lived up to the reputation. It was a really fun show. I took my 9 year old daughter, and she loved it. There were a few racy jokes, but I think those mostly went over her head. She loved the story and the songs. Great stuff!
Written on Oct 05 2012The production was fun and full of energy! Occasionally, because the characters are young and most of them female (with higher pitched voices), and the numbers were sung with great verve and enthusiasm, I did lose some of the lyrics. The acting, singing, and dancing were top notch. A delightful way to spend an evening!
Written on Oct 05 2012For a local production I was amazed at the talent. Very cute and entertaining. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this. Just good fun.
Written on Oct 01 2012Well done, lots of fun! The one negative..air didn't seem to be working on a Friday evening. Theater was suffocatingly hot which took away from the show a bit.
Written on Oct 01 2012Entertaining Fun! Never saw the movie, and I thought the show was great. Casting here was quite strong - I especially liked the supporting female leads (the Vivienne and Brooke characters). Venue is OK, but acoustics, placement of the orchestra, and complex lyrics/rhythms made it difficult to follow a couple of songs. Still, a great evening of community theatre!
Written on Oct 01 2012Hilarious from start to finish. The singing is excellent - many of the cast have broadway-quality voices.
Written on Oct 01 2012What a fantastic show. Was pleasantly surprised by the production quality and incredible talent on this stage.
Written on Oct 01 2012This show was entertaining and very well performed. The cast seemed to very much enjoy what they were doing during this fun and funny show. The lead actress and actors were spot on with their singing and the ensemble was very professional as well. Look forward to future performances at the SMT. Four stars because the audio balance and levels were off during the first number. It was corrected after that to a good balance.
Written on Oct 01 2012One word. "Go"! The casting was spot-on, the singing and dancing were top-notch. The whole production was WELL worth even a full-price ticket. Debating going again before the run ends, but know it's selling out. The energy level of the cast was amazing!
The venue was warmish, but not as much of a problem for me as some other people have mentioned in earlier reviews. Understand they know they have some HVAC challenges, but don't have the funding, as a non-profit, to pay for the fix.
Overall, still a 5, and had a GREAT experience!
Written on Oct 01 2012The play was great...entertaining and funny!
Written on Oct 01 2012Though it began with a few clinker vocal notes, it
quickly changed to a wonderful production. The
leads were amazing, with song, acting and dance.I was pleased that I selected this production for my visiting sister to see.
Written on Sep 25 2012The show was great! Loved it! it was a little warm!!
Thank you
Written on Sep 24 2012Great cast, cute show, comfortable theater - I would definitely return for another show at SMT!
Written on Sep 24 2012Fun, upbeat musical, well done.
Written on Sep 24 2012A very nice surprise! The cast was professional, hilarious & delightful! They were obviously having a great time on stage! Really great singing!
Written on Sep 24 2012Fun. Second half much more so!

Written on Sep 17 2012This was such a wonderful story of someone coming into her own...shown more clearly in the stage version than it was in the film...someone (in this case Elle) developing her own sense of what she could be and do rather than having that determined by the expectations of others. Elle and the rest of the cast were terrific. The staging was very creative, the live band was GREAT, the sound balance was excellent so the band didn't obscure the clever song lyrics. It was a great production, go and take your teens, especially girls!
Written on Sep 17 2012I had an over wonderful experience. I went with no expectations and the musical was great, the music was delivered well from all but 1 of the songs, the comedy was delivered well and was enjoyable without being silly or slapstick. There wasn't any dull portions of the story and if you were a fan of the movie you will definitely enjoy this. I plan on going back and bringing friends who haven't had the chance to see it.
Written on Sep 17 2012Absolutely spectacular! The script pretty much followed the movie with 15-16 very good songs and a couple of great songs. Lots of enthusiasm, many moments of levity and the singing and acting was stellar. I was very impressed for a local theater production and my date wondered if it was a traveling production since it was so good. I would encourage any and everyone to go.
Written on Sep 17 2012Really great show. So funny. I loved the actress who played the hairdresser, sorry I forgot her name, she was hilarious. The song, Bend and Snap, was my favorite.
Written on Sep 17 2012I've seen the MTV version on TV and the production of it at The Paramount. The acting and vocals by this cast are quite incredible. The sets aren't as elaborate but they work very well in the space they have and the set changes are not jarring at all. My daughter really enjoyed the show. The venue was unusually hot inside during the show which per another patron who frequents this establishment quite often was baffled as they had never experienced this before so maybe they were having some HVAC issues that day. Overall though it was a great show and I would certainly recommend this to others.
Written on Sep 17 2012Great show, terrible venue.
Written on Sep 17 2012Very uplifting and funny. Well acted. You could tell the performers were really into their parts. Suitable for all ages. Dress is nice casual, but there were a few sports coats there.
Biggest problem was that first half was stifling hot. Then they turned fans on, I guess. Second half more comfortable.
Written on Sep 17 2012Cast did a geat job!! We thoroughly enjoyed it. Seats were good...theater was a bit hot.
