Follow young orphan Oliver from a dreary workhouse to the streets of Victorian London, where he unwittingly falls in with a gang of pickpockets, in Oliver! Based on Charles Dickens' beloved novel Oliver Twist, this boisterous musical features memorable songs like "Food, Glorious Food," "Consider Yourself," "Where Is Love?" and "As Long as He Needs Me," and timeless themes, including the search for love, the triumph of right over wrong and the hope for a better world. Oliver! premiered in London's West End in 1960, scored three Tony Awards for its Broadway debut in 1963 and was made into a six-time Oscar-winning musical film in 1968. This musical theater classic might leave you saying, "Please, sir, I want some more." Learn More

This was a collection of little one act plays about romantic attraction, and like any collection, some were good and others not-so-good. In the not-so-good category, I guess I would say they were too silly for my taste, or just sort of pointless, not really bad. None were particularly memorable. But since none were very long, the evening moved quickly and rather enjoyably. Parking for this venue was, as always, a nightmare. I have decided I need to arrive 45 minutes to an hour early to have any chance at eventually snagging a spot. But a glass of wine from the bar that I can sip throughout the performance does a lot to assuage any parking frustration.
