Composer, singer, guitarist, writer and political activist Caetano Veloso is one of the most influential artists in South America. The Brazilian's latest album, Abraçaço, fuses Tropicália and the indie pop of contemporary Rio with the help of Banda Cê, a trio of young musicians. Veloso is one of the leading figures of Tropicalismo, a political and musical movement that also included Gilberto Gil, Os Mutantes and Tom Zé. At 71, his latest album incorporates the style he helped invent along with swirling melodies, industrial noises and electro-acoustic rock 'n' roll. Learn More
We often enjoy a light dinner at Fonte Cafe and Wine Bar before shows at Benaroya. Much nicer than the choices in the hall.Seattle Men's Chorus Holiday Concert: Play It Again Santa dining • Jun 17 2014 star this tip starred
