This romantic comedy has been remade into the musical My Fair Lady and the 1990 film Pretty Woman, but if you have never seen the original barbed play, now is your chance. George Bernard Shaw's comedy depicts the unlikely relationship between a Cockney flower seller named Eliza Doolittle and stuffy phonetics professor Henry Higgins. After picking out Eliza from the gutter to be his experiment, Higgins teaches her to talk like a proper lady, and Eliza, in turn, schools him on what it truly means to be a gentleman.
