A master of both slapstick and sophisticated wordplay, Groucho Marx is considered nothing less than a cigar-wielding comic genius. Join award-winning actor/director/playwright Frank Ferrante for a laugh-filled, fast-paced performance, consisting of Groucho's best one-liners and songs, including "Hooray for Captain Spalding." During the two-act, 90-minute show, Ferrante trades ad libs with the audience and introduces you to an array of historical characters including the other Marx brothers, Charlie Chaplin, W.C. Fields and Greta Garbo. Fun for audiences of all ages, the show was a hit in New York, London and on PBS. Learn More
RAWSTOCK reloads with new cinematic mind-blowers from around the world. Each film twists a traditional genre into something unexpected. James Cunningham (Poppy) tells the story of a neurotic interstellar middle-manager in First Contact. Thomas Malins’ Kricfalusian cartoon The Creep tethers a traditional serial-killer narrative to innovative use of vintage audio tracks. Ninja Sex Party (The Decision) returns with a blood-drenched arena-rock ballad in Dance_. And the centerpiece is Jordan Vogt-Roberts’ (_Book Club) 30-minute mini-epic, Successful Alcoholics. A hilarious examination of a young couple stuck in an epic whirlwind of blackout sex, booze and sales commissions, Successful Alcoholics is a surprisingly bittersweet co-dependent love story. To cap it all off, The RAWSTOCKMafia launches the first ever RAWSTOCKLive. Imagine all the chaos and erotic energy of a RAWSTOCK film … but live! Get out the tarps.
