A modern blues legend, Ted "Popa Chubby" Horowitz has been writing, playing and singing electric blues music for over three decades. Born in the Bronx, Horowitz was in punk innovator Richard Hell's band before breaking out on his own as a blues sensation in the early '90s. Thanks to powerful vocals and virtuoso guitar skills, Horowitz has built his reputation as a must-see live performer. His most recent album, Universal Breakdown Blues, finds Horowitz displaying a mastery of Hendrix-style driving blues, Stevie Ray Vaughan-inflected boogie and more. Learn More
Seating is comfortable, but if you want to see the performers play --e.g. strumming the guitar, you would need to sit where you face the front of the state, as they might not turn toward your side as they perform.Michael Shrieve's Spellbinder info • Jun 30 2014 star this tip starred
