Great way to see and learn more about the city. The views are incredible but my favorite part is the live narration, I loved the history and quirky stories.Written on Aug 06 2010

I want to be clear why I gave this 3 stars. First of all, the cruise itself was great - 5 stars. The staff was exceptional and the vessel clean and comfortable.Written on Oct 18 2010
The 3 star part comes in with the logistics between Goldstar and Argosy. The stated time on Goldstar was 30 minutes off from actual (3:00pm departure on Goldstar, 3:30pm departure stated at dock). Another gripe was anyone who booked through Goldstar had to go through an additional process at the counter to get transferred from the Kirkland boat trip to the Seattle Lake one, even though it looked like we booked correctly on Goldstar. Multiple transfers like this threw the departure time back by at least 15 min. The attitude of the counter person was one of "exasperation" toward Goldstar, and clearly it was making her job more difficult that day.
Not sure if this was a one-time glitch or pervasive in the Goldstar/Argosy ticketing.
Still, I recommend the trip - both my kids and 80-something mother liked it. Just be prepared for minor complications.

A really fun and educational tour. The boat was comfortable and the crew very accomodating. Highly recommend it for both out of towners and locals interested in learning more about the city.Written on Dec 27 2010

The overall tour was good and everyone on board was friendly, although, I wished the guide was a bit more informed and didn't primarily read from a script.Written on Nov 01 2010
