Texas rocker Vaden "Danger" Todd Lewis plays stripped-down acoustic versions of his hits as the lead singer of the Toadies and the Burden Brothers. Best known for their successful single "Possum Kingdom," The Toadies broke through in the '90s, broke up in the early '00s, and got back together in the late '00s. Their latest is 2012's Play.Rock.Music. Lewis also led the Dallas-based Burden Brothers, which had a Top 25 tune with "Beautiful Night." Portland native Kate Lynne Logan released her first full-length album, Awakening, in 2012, and has brought her pop-Americana-folk sound to stages across the Northwest. Learn More
Reviews & Ratings
Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys began over twenty years ago with a reputation for excellence. Their stunningly clean and cohesive performance of Cajun French music from the backwaters of Southwest Louisiana propelled them into the world music limelight early on, and by their third release had garnered them a Grammy nomination in the worldwide field of traditional folk music, another in 2004, and then another in 2009.
From the day they started, they have gone from strength to strength. Never before in Cajun music has a comparable wealth of skills been brought to the same table.
