Three Men and a Baby Jesus: Corporate Execs Meet the Christ Child
Balagan AfterHours presents Three Men and a Baby Jesus
. In this hilariously twisted Christmas tale by Matt Smith, a trio of Fortune 500 executives desperately need a Christmas miracle to keep their jobs after sinking the company ship. Santa shows up, but instead of asking for help delivering toys, he needs them to babysit the infant Savior. The execs soon find themselves confronting not just icky soiled diapers, but the religious foundations of their most profitable holiday. And things get even more complicated when an evil giant turkey arrives to claim Baby Jesus as her own.

Contemporary slang meets 17th-century farce in The School for Lies. Adapted from Molière's The Misanthrope, playwright David Ives (Venus in Fur, All in the Timing) transforms Molière's classic into a modern satire told entirely through verse. The result is a delightfully incongruous comedy of manners that lets you peer inside the Parisian salon of Celimene, a young widow with a sharp tongue and plenty of suitors. Teresa Thuman and Ken Michels co-direct this Center Theatre production, in which a saucy siren finally meets her misanthropic match. Learn More
