The new state-of-the-art venue West of Lenin hosts the West Coast premiere of playwright/actor Tommy Smith's dark drama White Hot. Published in the 2008 New York Theater Review, the play centers around a pregnant couple, whose seemingly normal, placid life is ripped apart when the woman's sister arrives, seeking drugs. That leads to a stark descent for them all into betrayal, madness and violence. Marxiano Productions' version is directed by Seattle Rep's Braden Abraham and stars award-winning actors Ray Tagavilla and Hannah Franklin.

Announcing the West Coast premiere of Tommy Smith's White Hot, a searing domestic tragedy about the failure of marriage and hopelessness of love. Tempted by flaming desire, a young family systematically obliterates all faith in each other and themselves, causing terrible acts of injustice, madness and death.

After the 2010 smash hit success of Tommy Smith's Sextet, Marxiano Productions has brought together Seattle's top talent to make this production of WHITE HOT a must see. At the helm is director Braden Abraham of the Seattle Rep (Betrayal, My Name is Rachel Corrie) and featuring award winning actors Ray Tagavilla and Hannah Franklin who will be joined by up-and-comer Kimberley Sustad who will is debuting in J.J. Abrams Alcatraz this February.

Add to that a top notch design team with Jen Zeyl (Stranger Genius Award), Jessica Trundy, and Andrea Bush, White Hot will plunge Seattle's most proven young talent to new depths.

This show contains mature content and is recommended for those ages 16 and older.
