All-female roller derby action comes to Comcast Arena courtesy of the Tilted Thunder Rail Birds, the only modern banked track league in the Pacific Northwest. Thanks to the banked track, players can reach speeds of 25 to 30mph, and hit bigger and harder. For these bouts, a combination of official home teams -- including the Sugar Skulls, Rolling Blackouts, Saint Hellions and Royal Crush -- and special guest teams compete against each other in high-energy, hard-hitting contests. Each season culminates in an exciting championship. Learn More

First time I've ever attended a pro basketball game, and first time I've ever attended any event at Key Arena. The Storm really sell the experience and I liked it a lot. I'm over 6 ft tall and medium build, and found the seat roomy enough, though could have used more leg room. But, it was an exciting game, so I was on my feet quite a bit, anyway. The arena/Storm needs to make it easy for first timers to know what we're allowed to bring in or not. It took a couple search efforts to find that info.
The defending WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury face the league-leading Seattle Storm at Key Arena. The two rivals feature some of the league's best players: the Mercury are led by Diana Taurasi and Penny Taylor, while Lauren Jackson and Sue Bird star for the Storm.
