We didn't know exactly what this show was about, but were firmilliar with the poem of the same name. The first act turned out to be preachy and depressing and the acting was just ok. All 5 of us agreed to leave at intemission. We have used Gold Star many times and always have been very happy with the events we have chosen. This is just didn't live up to what we were used to.Written on Sep 03 2007

This is the only second time in all the years we have been attending live performances that we left at the intermission. This play, with no familiar songs, was soooo boring. The actors had sterling bios, but the songs were horrible and without message. Sorry, but I cannot recommend this play.Written on Sep 03 2007
