The masseuse was more vigorous than I like. Even after she "let up" a bit I still felt pretty battered and bruised. She was, however, very thorough.
Anonymous Member Courtney was terrific. She really studied my skin and catered the facial for my skin type. I do think their facials are overpriced, though I would recommend the salon.
Penny Bee I had an 80-minute deep tissue massage with Allison. She was GREAT. I have had so many massages (at some of the most expensive spas in LA) where the therapist just goes through the motions and doesn't pay any attention to problem areas. Allison worked really hard on my knotted upper back (and found knots in other places I never knew I had). Booked through Goldstar Events, it is a good deal. Their 'regular' prices are a bit expensive, especially considering they don't have any of the extras that other day spas have (steam room, etc). Overall nice facility though. |
