Like The Getty Villa, Mr. Beckett proves himself to be yet another hidden treasure of Los Angeles. Beckett's Button is both well written and well acted. With a compelling life story as a backdrop, Mr. Beckett exhibits a plethora of talents that should not be missed. He'll have you laughing, tearing and/or, at least in one's case, dancing, throughout his show.
A moving life story you won't want to miss. You are hooked from the beginning of the story and enthralled throughout it. Mr. Beckett tells his story with humor, love, and song. His performance is compelling and you walk away with the desire to evaluate your own life and how you live it.
The Whitefire Theatre was founded in 1982 and is located on Ventura Boulevard's Restaurant Row in Sherman Oaks. The theatre provides professional performance space for independent productions, classes, workshops, casting and rehearsals.
