I was somewhat disappointed. The scene pictured was not apart of the performance to start. I felt like it was a nice college performance. The location for me was very nice. It was cozy. There were no bad seat. One viewer said the seat were cramp; I didn't think so. It was a little chilly though.Written on Apr 18 2011

ClancyWorks Dance Company, one of Maryland’s most uniquely innovative modern dance companies, premieres Embracing the “AND” at RHT Silver Spring. In a world where we are often asked to choose or define things between this Or that (body or mind, black or white, cooperation or competition, self or other, liberal or conservative); Clancy’s choreography probes the nature of polar dichotomies in an attempt to seek a reconciliatory AND. Inspired by the mathematical principles of coordination dynamics, Clancy seeks to understand processes by which we can embrace multiple truths simultaneously.
ClancyWorks Dance Company, founded by Artistic Director Adrienne Clancy in 2001, is committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals in various communities by using the arts as a vehicle to develop mutual understanding and to advance positive social action.
