Start your St. Patty's celebrations a day early with Shamrock the Block, a night of Celtic music and dance groups at the Fillmore Silver Spring. The evening's headliners are Scythian, a high-energy east coast group who play kicked-up Irish and world music with hints of gypsy and klezmer, all infused with a punk-rock sensibility. They're joined by D.C.'s Irish rockers 40 Thieves and innovative electric violinist Brian Fitzy. Learn More
