Great classic film presented in grand style by AFI at their gorgeous cinema in Silver Spring. This is what going to the movies should be like every time. More like this AFI!!

My husband & I very much enjoyed the entire experience. The theater was designed in an art deco fashion--which was perfect to screen a movie made in 1923. The live music was a perfect accompaniment--especially as it was played by the composer. ...continued

The movie experience was greatly enhanced by the organist accompanied by a violinist and vocalist flown in from Italy for the event.

It was a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon! The musicians were excellent and the music score was lush and evocative of the action taking place in the film. I highly recommend this to others and hope for a repeat performance!

Great theater. It is nice to see a classic and what made it classic. I was surpised the film had not been cleaned up lots of small white flashes and bubbles, lines come and go. Maybe for the real lovers of the "silents" the at defects are part of...continued

First hand, if you are driving the parking structure is free on weekends. The Theatre itself was alot bigger inside than what it looks to be.

Very well done! Felt as if it was watching a movie in the old times. The live accompaniment was amazing!
