Actors Repertory Theatre of Simi presents the classic story To Kill a Mockingbird. Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning Southern novel by Harper Lee, this adaptation by Christopher Sergel follows the journey of Scout Finch whose father Atticus has been appointed to defend Tom Robinson, a black man framed for a crime he did not commit. As the trial progresses, Scout and her brother Jem see their community divided over issues of justice and racism. The tale compels us to take an honest look at our nation's past and our moral responsibility to each other. The production features veteran actor Don Swayze (True Blood) as Atticus Finch and former NFL player Dwight Hicks as Tom Robinson. Learn More

I really wanted to like it, and it was a good cause. We left at intermission. Something was missing. I would have stayed for what I assume was Dark Side of the Moon, but my wife hated it so much I had to take her home.

I think she would not have minded as much if the first set was Dark Side of the Moon, but she really didn't care for the other albums.
