Actors Repertory Theatre of Simi presents the classic story To Kill a Mockingbird. As the trial progresses, Scout and her brother Jem see their community divided over issues of justice and racism. The tale compels us to take an honest look at our nation's past and our moral responsibility to each other. Description

The Comedy Rat Pack will bring you countless laughs with their good, clean fun. Sit back, relax and know that these three will tickle your funny bone without making you uncomfortable about the subject matter.

Jimmy Burns describes himself as a “recovering elementary school teacher.” He says he taught school for ten years and then read a book that said, “Do what you love and the money will follow.” So he quit teaching and hit the road doing stand-up comedy. But his money is following at a very safe distance!  Besides headlining clubs and colleges all over the country and currently holding down the duties of house emcee at The Legendary Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena, California he has met, toured and learned from some of comedies finest performers. He toured with George Lopez as his opening act during the 2000-2003 “Right Now, Right Now” tour and opened for him at venues like Caesars Tahoe, Celebrity Theater in Phoenix, The Verizon Center in Houston, The Oriental Theater in Chicago and in Los Angeles at the fabulous Wiltern.

He also toured with Arsenio Hall as his opening act during 2002-2003. From that stint Arsenio took Burns with him as his audience warm up guy when he was hosting Star Search.

From 2003 to 2006, he toured as the opening act for Brad Garrett in concert. and open edfor him at venues like; The Mirage in Las Vegas, The Tropicana in Atlantic City, The Hilton in Reno, The Rialto Square Theater in Joliet, The Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore, Powers Auditorium in Youngstown and The North Shore Performing Arts Center in Skokie.

He was also the co-host of Live From Here with James P Connolly on the National Lampoon Comedy Radio Network, and he is currently touring with Henry Cho.

Gilbert Esquivel's comedy is uniquely clean, urban and edgy. Gilbert shares stories about himself and those around him, including anecdotes from growing up and traveling across the United States. He has a keen sensibility for comedy found in cultural differences, all the while recognizing that "Yes, there are differences, but in God's eyes we are equally loved."

The son of migrant workers, Gilbert was born in Parma, Idaho. He spent his childhood moving from city to city with his parents working in the fields, until his family settled in Pacoima, California. There, he became caught up in the world of gang violence. After years of "doing the wrong things," Gilbert decided to redirect his life in a positive way. By finding humor in his gang experiences, he has taken his unique perspective on life to audiences around the country. Gilbert now provides a positive role model for kids caught in inner-city violence. He uses his comedy to reach out and educate teens about life's different options.

Gilbert won his first comedy competition at the world famous Ice House in Pasadena just one year into his stand-up career. He has been seen on many television shows that include Que Locos and was one of the first Latino semi-finalists on BET's ComicView

Scott Wood, a stand-up comedian and impressionist known as Mr. Punchline, keeps audiences rolling in the aisles with a rapid-fire delivery of one-liners (more than eight jokes per minute) and a heart for clean comedy. Scott has been a full-time comedian for nearly twenty years at clubs, colleges, churches and television appearances. He was recently named Stand-Up Comedy champion after winning the Improv Comedy Club’s talent search for funniest comedian. His list of club credits includes The Comedy Store, The Ice House, The Laugh Factory and the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas.

Scott's many television credits include ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, A&E, Comedy Central, The Family Channel and two national commercial appearances. Scott’s accomplished impression repertoire contains over 300 celebrity and animated voices such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, George W. Bush, John Travolta, The Simpsons and Sylvester Stallone, as well as singers such as Michael Bolton, Frank Sinatra, The Backstreet Boys. Scott's impressions have been heard on KLOS, KABC, and the Rick Dees show.
