Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning Southern novel by Harper Lee, this adaptation by Christopher Sergel follows the journey of Scout Finch whose father Atticus has been appointed to defend Tom Robinson, a black man framed for a crime he did not commit. As the trial progresses, Scout and her brother Jem see their community divided over issues of justice and racism. Michael John and the Bottom Line is a top notch Blues Band. They had a good mix of music from quiet sentimental to rock out fun. They featured each of the musicians and related well with the audience. Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center is a wonderful intimate venue where every seat is a good seat. A really great evening.

Great music! Very fun! It's too bad the theatre wasn't full - it would have added to the energy level!
