This dance showcase features original works by professional choreographers, local dance studios, and guest artists, including world-renowned classical Indian dancer Shivani Thakkur, lyrical artist Elisha Johnson, and the Flamenca Fearless Project, a group of Flamenco dancers led by Briseyda Zarate. Other styles of dance featured include jazz, tap, modern and Irish dance, as well as other multicultural and ethnic dances.

Actors Repertory Theatre of Simi presents the classic story To Kill a Mockingbird. Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning Southern novel by Harper Lee, this adaptation by Christopher Sergel follows the journey of Scout Finch whose father Atticus has been appointed to defend Tom Robinson, a black man framed for a crime he did not commit. As the trial progresses, Scout and her brother Jem see their community divided over issues of justice and racism. The tale compels us to take an honest look at our nation's past and our moral responsibility to each other. The Art of Movement showcases top performers from Los Angeles and Ventura in many different styles of dance. The professional choreographers featured in this show have worked with the likes of Jessica Simpson, Liza Minelli, Stevie Wonder, Belly Twins, and numerous other artists and dance companies.
