Actors Repertory Theatre of Simi presents the classic story To Kill a Mockingbird. Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning Southern novel by Harper Lee, this adaptation by Christopher Sergel follows the journey of Scout Finch whose father Atticus has been appointed to defend Tom Robinson, a black man framed for a crime he did not commit. As the trial progresses, Scout and her brother Jem see their community divided over issues of justice and racism. The tale compels us to take an honest look at our nation's past and our moral responsibility to each other. The production features veteran actor Don Swayze (True Blood) as Atticus Finch and former NFL player Dwight Hicks as Tom Robinson. Learn More

This was one of the most enjoyable events I've seen at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center!

The Long Run (who you could have sworn was The Eagles) performed amazingly. My husband, who is very critical about all shows he's seen in the past, commented that it was, by far, "FABULOUS", and in his words, that's a mighty big compliment.

When others read this, it will be after the fact since there were only 2 performances. But if and when they return, you just have to see this show.
