Four talented singers, the members of Walk Like a Man have performed internationally and acted in Broadway shows. Actors Repertory Theatre of Simi presents the classic story To Kill a Mockingbird. Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning Southern novel by Harper Lee, this adaptation by Christopher Sergel follows the journey of Scout Finch whose father Atticus has been appointed to defend Tom Robinson, a black man framed for a crime he did not commit. As the trial progresses, Scout and her brother Jem see their community divided over issues of justice and racism. The tale compels us to take an honest look at our nation's past and our moral responsibility to each other. THE SINGERS WERE OK - PRERECORDED MUSIC, LESS THAN 45 MINUTES LONG. THE OPENING ACT A COMEDIAN WAS EXCELLENT AND WAS ON STAGE FOR MORE THAN I HOUR, VERY FUNNY AND WORKED THE AUDIENCE.
ALL IN ALL IT WAS AN ENJOYABLE SHOW.

Great show.. Just needed to be longer. Just over 60 minute??. Warm up act was as long as the main show.

The lead singer in the group was not strong enough to come near Frankie Valleys voice. He could not hit the high notes that was needed to adequately fit the group.

This was just plain ol' fun. Would have liked more of the
boys and less of the warm up commedian. I would definitely recommend seeing (and participating) in this show.
