The music is too often over loud and you can not hear the actors... it is a rather adult/childrens show.
The actors were all great.

I took my 6year old son to see this. The play is only one hour long, so easy for my son to sit through. The story is interesting enough for kids and adults alike. It's about a little boy who really wants to be a magician, just like Houdini. We had...continued

The musical was very nice. Our two grandchildren (ages 11 & 9) loved it. Our grandson, who had read the book on which the play was based, said he liked the performance better than the book. My only complaint is that, while the performance of...continued

The play was very cleverly done, but my six-year old grandson was hoping for more actual magic tricks.

I took my six year old daughter and mother to the one-hour performance and we all loved it. The set design is amazing, very playful with a mix of live actors and puppets with live music, too. I highly recommend it!

The theater was a perfect size for the production - every seat was a great seat. The Houdini Box creatively intertwined the use of human actors and puppets in an innovative way. The message of 'never giving up on your dreams / imagination' may...continued

This show was adorable! We own the book so were familiar with the story. The puppets and other effects were magical. The only problem was that the music was way way way too loud and we lost some of the song lyrics or had to strain to hear them.

Wonderful story, beautifully acted and staged. Stick around after the show to meet the actors.
