B.U.M.P. - Boston's Unscripted Musical Project: Improvised One-Act Musical
It seems like they've remade just about everything into a musical these days - aren't there any new ideas any more? That's where you come in -- think up your most brilliant idea for a musical and bring it to Davis Square Theatre. B.U.M.P. (Boston's Unscripted Musical Project) is a fully-improvised one-act musical. After getting a suggestion from the audience, the cast creates a musical full of heroes, villains and comic relief, transforming the tale into a Broadway-esque show as the audience watches. A fast-fingered live band accompanies the cast, improvising the music as they go along. Each performance boasts an entirely new production made up right on the spot, complete with all new songs, dances and an original story.
