With witty banter Aaron Sorkin would approve of, Creative License follows Casey and Bethany, two friends (or perhaps more than friends?) who haven't spoken for a year. Casey is struggling with a failing relationship and a bad case of writer's block as he attempts to create the "next big thing." Bethany is stuck in a relationship rut and an overwhelming job working for a demented drama professor. Can the two come together to produce the professor's "magnum opus" and save Casey's fledgling career as an artist? Creative License is a rocking musical written and directed by Kevin Cirone, host and writer for the popular Bye Bye Liver: The Boston Drinking Play. It's a testament to the power of art, friendship and a good glass of scotch. Learn More

The acting and production were superb. I found the storyline a little hard to follow at first, simply because the author doesn't start with any explanation of the reasons things are as they are. You have to figure it out as it goes along and pay attention to the details. Well worthwhile, in my opinion.
