The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) co-writer Daniel Rover Singer imagines a meeting between literary greats Lewis Carroll and Charles Dickens in the sparkling new comedy A Perfect Likeness: Carroll Photographs Dickens. When the Alice in Wonderland author invites the world's most popular novelist to sit for a photographic portrait, the mismatched Victorians find themselves immediately at odds. Dickens is bawdy and irreverent, while Carroll is mannered and clerical. Hilarious and unexpectedly revealing, this "what if?" scenario makes for an enchanting celebration of two cultural treasures. disappointing, mediocre at best. effort by actors was good but unfortunately did not good material to work with. humor wasn't witty. the modern script and modern acting (very white-washed) set in 14th century didn't work - just awkward.
