The event was a lot of fun. Worth to attend just for the cooking tips. Everyone was really friendly, and they staff was knowledgeable and quite helpful. They split the groups up into 2-3 guys and 2-3 ladies. The 2-3 ladies then were assigned to a table, and the 2-3 guys would rotate amongst each station (like group speed dating with food).

The atmosphere was fun, the people were energetic, and the food was delicious. The ratio is about 1:1 with people of all ages (late 20s - early 40s), races, shapes and sizes.

They had people bring wine so they ended up with alot of wine; I'm not a drinker so I didn't bring wine, but they had sodas to drink; they should offer water though. I'm not sure it's good idea to have people bring wine as most of it was finished; so most people were buzzed when they left. As for the cooking; it was fun to create stuff with a recipe, but I wouldn't pay full price for it. They were desperate for men, so they reduced the price the last few days and some men didn't even pay because they got emails from the organizer to attend for free. For the most part, the people were friendly and were open to socializing. I was one of the few asian guys there and there was only one other asian female who wasn't into socializing with other asian guys. Most attendees were caucasian.

Pretty good event! Like another reviewer, I am not much of a cook, either. So it was definitely nice to be in a situation where 3 chef's were around to teach/assist. The format was splitting the groups into males/females. My group was 3m/2f, but some groups were 4f/2m...what the (I'm male, btw)? not a very big deal, though. Just be open and social :) There were 5 or 6 appetizers to cook, and each group made one.

I haven't received it yet, but they promised to email out all the recipes to everyone, and also include a link to all the pictures and give everyone everyone else's email. On that note, they ask you for your email when you check in. If you're like me, you have a spam email. I didn't think fast enough to give her that one instead of my regular email...so...heads up!

Food was very tasty. Wine was as good as what the participants decide to bring. Overall, I was happy with the event. Oh yeah, average age, and I'm guestimating here, but for males, ~40, females ~late 30's.
